How to add options to a product on a shop page ?

Options are additional choices you can configure for a product. They allow you to specify the guest’s preferences.

Product options let you add selection criteria to each product. In this example, when the guest clicks on a dish, they can indicate which side dish they would like.

You can add options to each product. For example, you can offer multiple cooking preferences for a meat dish, a selection of teas, etc.

To do this, log in to the Bowo back office and follow these steps:

1. Go to the “Web App” tab, then click on “Editable pages”

2. Select the sales outlet where you want to add options to products.

3. Click on “Menu”

4. Click on “Products” to see the list of all your products.

5. Click “Edit” on the product where you want to add options.

6. Click “Sales options” on that product, then click “Add.”

Category Section : 

You can add or select:

• Category Title – Name of the option category

• Limit – The number of options the guest can select. For example, if you enter 2, the guest cannot choose more than 2 options in this category.

• Keep Open – The option window stays open; the guest does not need to click to see the dropdown list.

• Mandatory – The guest must select at least one option from this category to complete the order.

• Exclusive – The guest can select only one option.

Options Section :

Click “Add” to add options. You can add multiple options to the category.



Enter:

• Option Title – The name of the option
• Price – The cost of the option. If the option does not change the product price, enter 0. If the option is paid, enter only the difference from the product price.
• Example: The burger costs €10. With the cheese option, it costs €12. Enter €2 in the “Price” field for the option.

• Maximum – The maximum quantity the guest can choose for this option

⚠️ Reminder: The English translation is automatic. Delete the English text each time you make a new change so that the translation updates correctly.
