How to configure sub-menus on a boutique page?

When the client clicks on a boutique page, the sub-menus prevent them from directly accessing the list of products and instead organize them into types of products.

Sur l’exemple ci-dessous, après avoir cliqué sur la page boutique, nous avons comme sous-menus : mocktails, thé glacés, jus de fruits et sodas.

Step 1: Create a Sub-menu

To configure sub-menus, log in to the Bowo hotel back office, and follow these steps:

1. Go to the "Config App" tab, then select "Pages."

2. Choose the boutique page you want to modify.

3. Click on "Menu."

4. Click on "Add sub-menu" at the top of the page.

 

You can then add an introduction and a title. If you encounter any difficulties in performing this operation, please refer to our article: "How to change titles and text color in my category?". They will be displayed at the top of the boutique page. Continuing with the example above, if we had entered "Mocktails" as the title, it would be displayed here when the client clicks on it:

 

 

⚠️ Attention, don't forget to save your modification at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Add products to the sub-menu

Once the sub-menu is created, you can now add products to this sub-menu. To do this:

1. Go to the "Config App" tab, then select "Pages."

2. Choose the boutique page you want to modify.

3. Click on "Menus."

4. Click on "Products" on the line corresponding to the sub-menu you created.

Step 3: Add the sub-menu to the main menu

After entering your products in the sub-menu, you need to add your sub-menu to your main menu. To do this:

1. Go to the "Config App" tab, then select "Pages."

2. Choose the boutique page you want to modify.

3. Click on "Menus."

4. Click on "Edit" in your main menu.

5. Scroll down to the Sub-menus and add them to the dropdown list.

 

Step 4 :

Once the products are entered and the sub-menus have been added to the main menu, the last step is to link the sub-menus to the correct product on the boutique page. To do this:

1. Go to the "Config App" tab, then select "Pages."

2. Choose the boutique page you want to modify.

3. Click on "Menus."

4. Click on "Products" on the line of the main menu.

 

You must then create products that will redirect to your sub-menu. In the example below, the product "Cocktails" redirects to the sub-menu "Cocktails."

To do this, click on "Add a product" in the category where you want to see your sub-menus.

After filling in the title, subtitle, image, and gradients for your "product," which will actually be a tile, you need to link your tile/product to your sub-menu.

As a reminder, the translation into English is automatic. Remove the English text with each new modification to ensure accurate translation.
